Legitimate online options
When operators provide them, useful channels may include:
- Official mobile apps from Jazz, Telenor, Zong, Ufone, or other licensed operators
- Operator websites and logged-in account areas
- Operator-published USSD or SMS short codes
Always type the official domain yourself or use the app from a trusted store. Do not follow links from unknown SMS or social media messages.
Offline options
- Authorized franchise and customer service centers
- Operator helplines (numbers published on official sites)
Bring original CNIC when staff need to verify identity.
What to avoid
- Websites that ask for CNIC plus OTP without clear operator affiliation
- Services that claim to show anyone’s private owner details publicly
- Unsolicited “verification” calls asking for remote access or payments
If something feels off, hang up and contact your operator through a number you already trust.
