How to Check SIMs Registered on Your CNIC
Understand the link between CNIC and SIM registration, use the official online SIM information system, and respond safely if something looks wrong.
How SIM registration relates to CNIC
Mobile operators in Pakistan register SIMs against identity documents. For most citizens this is the Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC). The goal is to reduce anonymous use of mobile numbers.
A CNIC-linked SIM means the number was activated using that identity document (often with biometric verification). It does not mean this website—or any third party—should publish your private data.
Official verification methods
Prefer channels controlled by your mobile operator or recognized official systems:
- Operator helpline or customer care
- Official operator app or USSD codes (when published by the operator)
- Authorized franchise or customer service centers
- Any portal or SMS service that the operator or regulator publicly confirms
Procedures change. Always verify the current method on your operator’s official website or app.

What to do about an unknown SIM
If you discover a SIM registered against your CNIC that you did not request:
- Contact the relevant mobile operator immediately.
- Request details of when and how the SIM was registered (through official channels).
- Ask for deactivation or blocking of unauthorized SIMs.
- Monitor related accounts (banking OTPs, social media) for unusual activity.
- Consider filing a complaint if fraud is suspected.
